Le Verre Beldi – Moroccan design classics made from recycled glass
Whether in Marrakesh, Casablanca or Fes - everywhere in the cafés we are served the typical mint tea or cold drinks in the beautiful mouth-blown Beldi glasses.
The Moroccan design classic was almost on the verge of extinction. Since 1940, used glass has been transformed into glasses, jugs and vases in Casablanca. When the traditional company had to close its doors in 2013, the Beldi Group fortunately took over the company. Since then, tons of used glass have been recycled and handcrafted into great products.
Of course, the use of old glass occasionally creates slight color differences and beautiful imperfections that tell their own story and make the glasses something special.
Be it the classic mint tea, a gin and tonic in a large glass, an espresso macchiato in the smallest size or even decorated with a tea light - with these glasses you can bring a piece of the breathtaking beauty of Morocco into your home.
