Unique cushions made from cactus silk and cotton
We fell head over heels in love with the beautiful Sabra cushions on our first visit to Marrakech. No wonder, as they are each truly unique. They are lovingly hand-woven by Berber women from the Atlas Mountains from high-quality cotton and fine cactus silk and embroidered with various symbols. Even the side seams are carefully sewn by hand.
Each pillow is a small work of art and has its own story, because the symbols all have a different meaning (such as strength, love or freedom). Background: Some Berber women cannot read or write, so they use these special symbols to express themselves.
Our Sabra cushions are available in different variations and can be combined wildly with each other.
The cushion cover has a hidden zipper and can therefore be easily filled or removed for cleaning.
